Plan the whole break
Planning the school holidays in Strathfield
Tell us the days you need covered, the hours, how far you can go and who is coming. We lay out the whole break across every program here, with the kids together where it can be done, and book it in one go. Where nothing fits a day, we say why and what would change that.
Most holiday programs run as dated blocks: a single day, or a Monday to Friday week, each booked on its own, with its hours and its price per child. The plan shows what each block covers, so a week booked for two days reads as what it is.

School holidays in Strathfield: your questions
When are the summer school holidays in NSW?
The NSW summer school holidays run from Friday 18 December 2026 to Wednesday 27 January 2027, by the Department of Education's calendar for public schools. Independent and Catholic schools often break a few days earlier or later, so check your own school's dates. The break after that, the autumn holidays, runs from Monday 12 April 2027 to Friday 23 April 2027.
What kinds of holiday programs are on in Strathfield?

Are there free school holiday activities in Strathfield?
Not in this break so far. Councils and libraries often add free sessions close to the holidays, so it is worth checking back.
Can I use a NSW Active and Creative Kids voucher?
None of the programs listed for these holidays has said it takes the voucher yet. Where one does, its page says so, and the voucher comes off the price when you book on EventCub.
What ages are holiday programs for?
Programs in these holidays cover ages 5 to 20. Every listing shows its own age range, and the age filter on the feed narrows the list to your child.
How do I book a holiday program?
Pick a program, choose its dates and book on EventCub. Some providers take bookings on their own website or by phone instead, and the program page says which.
