Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron

The Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron (RSYS) Sailing Academy, established in 1960, runs learn-to-sail programs from the Squadron at Kirribilli on Sydney Harbour. Its Tackers program and holiday sailing camps teach kids and teens from about 8 to 18 years old, using Optimist dinghies and Elliott 7 keelboats, with courses open to members and non-members. It also runs sailing courses for adults and a Sunday Tackers program in school terms.
