Good to know
- Juniors sail Poly Optimists; teens sail Elliott 7s in small groups
- Bring sun-safe clothing: rashie, boardshorts or leggings, wetsuit, warm jumper and spray jacket
- Bring old sandshoes, sneakers or wetsuit booties
- Bring a towel, a change of clothes and a bag for wet gear
- Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, lunch, snacks and water

About this program
Spend a day on Sydney Harbour learning to sail with the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron Sailing Academy at Kirribilli. These one-day holiday camps are run by qualified Australian Sailing instructors and are open to members and non-members. Younger sailors learn the basics in Optimist dinghies, while teens head out in Elliott 7 keelboats, getting hands-on coaching in boat handling, sail trim and teamwork. Each day mixes practical sailing with fun on the water, whether your child is brand new to sailing or building on their skills.
