Survivor Island Drama Workshop

Treat your child to a one-day drama adventure where they are stranded on Survivor Island and must create, problem-solve and perform their way off it.

At Hennessy Speech & Drama Studio, we don't simply hand students a script and ask them to rehearse a performance. Our workshops are immersive, interactive experiences where students become active creators, problem-solvers and storytellers. Students work collaboratively to develop characters, overcome challenges, devise scenes, solve problems and present their ideas.

Through improvisation, public speaking, creative thinking and drama-based challenges, students learn to:

• Think on their feet
• Work effectively with others
• Express their ideas with confidence
• Develop leadership and problem-solving skills
• Build creativity and resilience

Rather than focusing on a final performance, our ONE DAY workshops emphasise the process of creating, allowing every child to contribute, take risks and discover their unique voice in a supportive environment. The result is a day that feels like an adventure while developing valuable life skills that extend far beyond the stage.

Skills developed include creative thinking, problem solving, collaboration, confidence in communication, performance skills, leadership, time management and independent thinking. Students learn correct posture, how to use their voice safely and effectively, awareness of how to communicate through their body, basic stagecraft and how to contribute ideas for developing scripts for performance.
