Students need their own paints, brushes and an A3 visual art diary - buy the SAS Student Resource Kit or your own matching set

About this program

Our Mini Monet Art Classes for kids aged 5 to 7 builds the important foundation drawing and painting skills for young artists an engaging and creative environment.

Lesson plans designed by professional artists and educators provide the week by week framework for your child to develop artistic and cognitive skills through enjoyable activities, with one-on-one time from the tutor during each class.

Mini Monet focuses on shape, pattern, printing and brush control, building foundations such as visual-spatial reasoning, focus, persistence, close observation and teamwork through activities inspired by artists including M.C. Escher, Yayoi Kusama, William Morris, Wayne Thiebaud and David Hockney.

Classes run for nine consecutive weeks, starting the same week as NSW Public School terms, with an extra week added if a class falls on a public holiday.

All senior tutors are tertiary qualified professional artists, and studios comply with Working with Children checks, First Aid Officers and Public Liability Insurance.
