RSGK ELC program Term 4, 2026 Tuesday - First Steps Barden Ridge

Ready Steady Go Kids is a multi-sport class delivered within early learning centres, designed by a paediatric physiotherapist and occupational therapist so that each session suits children's developmental needs.

Children take part in activities that build a range of age-appropriate skills, including exploration, basic counting and colour concepts, alongside teamwork and sportsmanship. The format also helps develop social skills, listening skills and concentration.

The class is designed to support an early learning centre's Quality Improvement Plan and links to the Early Years Learning Framework, particularly around promoting physical activity through planned and spontaneous experiences. Run by an experienced coach, it gives educators a chance to observe their group from a different perspective.

Attendance requires an existing booking with the early learning centre offering the program.
