About this program
Kids will get to play and create with the latest makerspace kits and electronic gadgets in these free fortnightly sessions in the Darling Square Library makerspace.
Kids can get hands-on with our makerspace kits, including Spheros and Ozobots or battle it out with our Edison robots. They’ll also get to make things that fly in our wind tube, build a marble run or light up LEDs using conductive tape. Enjoy different activities each fortnight designed to help build digital and making skills.
Details:
- FREE, bookings essential
- Suitable for: Kids aged 8-12 years
- Experience level: no prior making experience required
We think carefully about the suggested age range for our activities and this workshop is only appropriate for children over the age of 8 years.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs please contact Christie Torrington, Makerspace Programs Coordinator on 9265 9333 or ctorrington@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au
Please note: while our activities vary fortnightly, we do repeat some activities during the calendar year.
