Hairspray 3 Day Workshop

A three-day drama workshop for children exploring the musical Hairspray, bringing characters such as Tracy Turnblad, Penny Pingleton, Edna Turnblad, Link Larkin, Seaweed, Motormouth Maybelle and Velma Von Tussle to life.

Students perform numbers including Good Morning Baltimore, Nicest Kids in Town and Welcome to the '60s, working on characterisation, storytelling, confidence and stage presence in a supportive environment.

Sessions use scripts in hand, costume pieces to spark imagination, and drama games woven throughout, building confidence, creativity and ensemble skills while experiencing the music and scenes of Hairspray.
