About this program
Blast off on an AI-powered space adventure! In this four-hour, hands-on holiday camp, students in Years 2–6 will become young space explorers and engineers.
Working in teams, they will discover how artificial intelligence is used in space exploration and use age-appropriate AI tools, coding and creative design to complete their own space mission.
Young space explorers will:
- Discover how AI learns from data, recognises patterns and makes predictions to support astronauts and space missions
- Experiment with beginner-friendly coding and AI tools to solve exciting mission challenges
- Learn how to write clear prompts, guide generative AI and compare different AI-generated results
- Think like responsible AI scientists by checking outputs, spotting possible errors and deciding when human judgement is needed
- Work with their mission crew to design, test and showcase an imaginative AI-powered solution for space
No previous experience with AI or coding is required. The activities are designed to be engaging and accessible for students at different experience levels, with guidance and support from AI Camp educators.
Suitable for: Students in Years 2–6
Places are limited and bookings are essential. Join us for a fun day of AI, coding, teamwork and space exploration!
