Balmoral Adventure Camps

A holiday adventure camp for children, based outdoors and run screen-free, with activities that vary from camp to camp. Children take part in team challenges, building projects and outdoor games, with time spent at the beach and exploring nearby headland areas.

• Stand Up Paddle Boarding
• Snorkelling
• Building Activities – Shelter Build, Bridge Build, Stretcher Build
• Group Challenges – games requiring teamwork or initiative, such as "Minefield" and "Toxic Crossing"
• Bush Walks and Scavenger Challenges
• Beach Games – Leaky Pipe, Sandcastle Battles and similar
• Code Breaker Puzzles
• Mass-Games (team vs team)
• Adventure Relay
• Prize Auction as the finale

During winter, swimming and water activities are not included. Children are based at a Sea Scouts hall next to the beach and oval, and spend part of the camp exploring nearby, including the old gunners barracks on the headland.
